Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to work as UK trade ambassadors

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York are bound to follow their father's footsteps. On Thursday, they will begin  their work as Britain's trade ambassadors. Their first destination is Berlin, where they will perform a "year-long promotion of British Industry.

"On Friday, they will proceed to Hanover. However, their engagements are not "official" and their father, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, will shoulder the cost of their trip to hush any controversy which hounded him when he was still holding the post.

"They were asked to do it by No.10 and they were happy to do it. It’s all about raising awareness of the UK as a great place to visit or do business with," states a Buckingham Palace statesman.
