Kensington Palace released four new photographs of Prince
George of Cambridge in time for his third royal birthday. Photographer Matt Porteous was commissioned to take the pictures from the Cambridges' family
home in Norfolk earlier this July.
According to a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of
Cambridge, royal couple “hope that people will enjoy seeing these new
photographs.” Their Royal Highnesses sincerely thanked everyone for the “lovely
messages” sent to them on the prince’s third birthday.
On Matt’s part, he was very happy for the opportunity given
him to capture the special moments of the Prince George for his special day.
“It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere,” he said.
“I'm honoured that they have decided to share these images
with the public to mark his third birthday,” he continued.
Prince George of Cambridge was born on July 22, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. Here are some stories we’ve wrote on the birth of Prince George. All photos shared in this post are from the British Royal Family's official Facebook page.
