The Duchess of Cambridge turns 40 and what better way to celebrate it than to release three dazzling new portraits!
Taken by fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, these photographs which will become part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, of which the Duchess is patron since 2012. They will be featured in the gallery's "Coming Home" project. This initiative will see portraits of individuals displayed on locations which have special connection with them. For the case of the 40-year-old royal, her new portraits will be sent to three places where she has lived: Berkshire, where she was raised as a child; St. Andrews, where she attended university and met Prince William; and Anglesey, where the couple spent the early years of their marriage, before moving into Kensington Palace.
