 Today we begin a new story! For the next few weeks, we will feature a series of articles dedicated to Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, Duchess of Teck.

 Princess Mary Adelaide was a king's granddaughter, a royal duke's daughter, and a cousin to a queen, and mother to another. She was also the grandmother of two kings.

Next to Queen Victoria, the Duchess of Teck was the most well-loved member of the British Royal family during her lifetime.  She took on numerous royal duties, held patronages and supported a wide-ranging charities and philanthropic causes. Princess Mary Adelaide was so popular that she was dubbed as the "People's Princess".
