Prince Charles’ private home – his own personal retreat - Highgrove House, boasts of one of the best gardens in the world. It is in Highgrove where the heir to the British throne practices his environmental principles, making it the “most inspiring and innovative in the United Kingdom.” Originally aired in 2011, this BBC special, sees the Prince of Wales take Alan Titchmarsh on a tour of Highgrove House, where he also gives an astonishingly informal and likable interview about its history, his passion for gardening, and what he has done to transform the property into the inspiring sanctuary it is today.
